Virtual Enterprise (VE) is a full-year senior course that teaches students how to create and run their own business. In April, one of Molloy’s VE Firms made the top 20 at the VE Trade Show at the Javits Center! The show hosted 250 firms made up of over 4000 students from all over the country, as well as some from different parts of the globe! Mr. Touzin, Molloy’s VE teacher, explained that “the trade show was a live experience where students got to pitch their product or service and get people to virtually ‘buy’ from them.”
Out of the 250 firms, 30 of them were acknowledged with an award; ten received gold, ten silver, and ten bronze. Job Oracle, one of Molloy’s VE firms, earned a silver award, placing them in the top 20! The Virtual Enterprise program at Molloy continues to grow every year, and we are excited to highlight the hard work and tenacity of our student entrepreneurs!
