ABOUT “BUZZ WORDS”

Join the Stanner Alumni Center and connect with fellow alumni, faculty and staff as we provide this exciting opportunity for reading enthusiasts: the “Buzz Words” Alumni Book Club! Together we will read one book per month with a group discussion to follow. A different club member will facilitate each monthly meeting.

A book list highlighting selections for the year will be sent out each fall and spring respectively. We will read a variety of works; high interest, faster reads to start us off. Some months will be themed, such as highlighting Black authors during Black History Month, female authors during Women’s History Month, etc. When you register, you can recommend a book to be considered for our book list.

We look forward to connecting you with Molloy faculty, active and retired, who may serve as facilitators for select meetings. More information on this coming soon!

MEETINGS

Meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of every month. The general meeting time will be 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Meetings will include light refreshments.

LOCATION

Meetings will be held at Archbishop Molloy High School. If you are unable to physically attend a meeting or meetings, a virtual option is available.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Book Club is free. Participants are required to purchase their own books.
