Congratulations to Mel “MJ” Sim ‘27 on winning the CHSAA Boys State Champion Title! MJ bowled scores of 233, 216, 213, 247, and 243 in the qualifying round to finish 3rd. As a freshman, he bowled a 259 in the step ladder to go on against the #1 seed, a senior from another school. After a game tied at 246, both MJ and his opponent bowled 4 strikes twice which forced a 3rd roll off round. MJ secured the win 49-40 to become the champion! MJ is the first state bowling champion Molloy has ever had!
Another big congratulations to Sofia Tolentino ‘27 who finished 3rd in the first CHSAA Girls Division! Sophia bowled scores of 182, 213, 162, 209, and 176.
